Children’s Concert – Recap

Last week, we wrote this post about our Children’s Concert, co-presented by the Ashburnham-Westminster Community Partnership for Children.  At the time, we were anticipating about 35 children between the ages of three and five (a much greater response than the 8-10 children originally expected to attend!).  Imagine our surprise when 56 children (ages 2-5) and their grown-ups crowded into the Sanctuary at the First Congregational Church of Westminster ready to sing and move with us!  Here are a few pictures from the event:

Needless to say, we had a great time.  “Saxophone Steve” was a great hit and we had several enthusiastic volunteers help us with our picture cards and hand motions.  The best part?  Hearing a room full of preschoolers singing boldly and without inhibition.  What a wonderful group of young musicians!
